APPLICATION

Join us as a vendor November 28-29, 2026 for the beautifully styled NU VEAU Market!  Our very intentionally curated event showcases the best of handmade from established brands, emerging artists and young entrepreneurs.  Specialty food, vintage clothing, etc. will be considered in limited numbers.  We will not be accepting MLM/Direct Sales companies.  Alcohol vendors will not be permitted but we do have one opening per year for a collaboration.  Please reach out directly through email if this interests you.

This market is a juried event seeking unique products and makers with the likeminded values of being locally, ethically and sustainably made and who complement the

NU VEAU aesthetic.  All submitted applications are reviewed and chosen according to category availability, in limited numbers and as best suited to the market brand and demographic attending.  As we understand wanting to organize your year's line up as early as possible, acceptance will be on an ongoing basis until categories are full, and notifications will be sent via email within two weeks, please check your spam|trash folders.  Once you are notified of acceptance, payment is due in full ,within 72 hours, to secure your spot.  Applications will remain open until the market date to allow for a waitlist.  Vendors may only sell the products in the category and style that has been specified in this application.  We understand, as artisans ourselves, that our craft can change throughout the year with new inspirations and techniques learned.  If a new product is added to your line that is different (ie. artist adding clothing) or your craft has changed in style (ie. rustic to more refined) after acceptance to NU VEAU market, photos and descriptions must be submitted and approved.  Artisans that make jewelry, in addition to their main products from another category, may be permitted to display the jewelry, if there is room in that category, in very limited numbers.

We will be doing the much loved ADVENT GIVEAWAY again this year!  24 days of opening beautiful handmade gifts from our makers for one market shopper - last years value $700.  Social media giveaways will also take place.  As giveaways are a vital part of advertising and expanding reach, each vendor is required to gift 1 small item (minimum $15 value) and must be in keeping with your brand aesthetic and quality.  Please package these in a small box or bag or in a way that feels like a gift for the recipient (not loose or unprotected) and clearly showing your brand name (ie. art card in a paper sleeve with branded sticker, earrings, keychains, or fragile pieces in small box or cloth bag etc.).  If you would like to gift a small accompaniment piece to your work instead of a smaller piece of work (like a honey dipper if you're a potter or wood conditioner if you're a woodworker etc.) this is ok too.  Please add a branded tag and secure in a box or cloth bag etc.  This is required in order to partake in the market as it is a key component in advertising and creating excitement.

GALA SIP AND SHOP:

The GALA is a ticketed event where shoppers will receive sparkling wine, a sweet treat, DJ, NU VEAU tote bag and enjoy a live demonstration (previous year's were fashion illustrations, henna tattoos and fashion show).  Shoppers will have the first chance to chose from the best selection while enjoying an evening out.  Boutique stores are invited to attend this event looking to wholesale and consign new designers.  This is a great opportunity to network as well as showcase a unique product that is exclusive to the event.

The LOOKBOOK magazine is how we introduce our makers each year as an online flipbook featuring your products, bios and catalog listings.  Expected up coming trends will be included showing how your work fits with what's current and tips and tricks can also be shared as added features.  We ask for stylish, professional looking photographs, but these photos are not required to be taken by a photographer.  They must be high resolution, clear and showcase the product/s well.  If photographs have been taken by a professional it is the vendors responsibility to send the required information for credit and NU VEAU market must be allowed to use them without copyright infringement.
Please provide high quality photos/video for application and LOOKBOOK purposes.  Please include a photo of yourself for marketing/socials and a short product/making/BTS etc. video - without music.  If your video will not send, please email it separately to darya@nuveau.ca.
